あと何日
卒業までの予定を作成していたら、修論の〆切まであと56日ということがわかりました。56日? そこから、年末休みやスキーに遊びに行く予定等を差し引くと、わりと大変なことになっています。何も好き好んで日数を逆算したわけではなくて、Todoソフトに予定を書き込んでいたら表示されただけなのですが、この「残り～日」のような表記はやはりあまり良いもんじゃありません。例えば、「肺ガンにかかるまでに吸えるタバコの数はあと残り約～本」とか「標準体重まであとマイナス～㎏」とか。「死ぬまでに読める本はあと～冊」というのも嫌ですね。焦ってしまう以前に、哀しくなります。あるいは、ぼくは哀しむ前に卒業にむけてもう少し焦るべきなのでしょうか。

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
